Personality: Upbeat, sweet, compassionate, friendly, and a people pleaser. However, Bella can be very nervous and is prone to rambling when she is stressed.

Random Fact(s): Bella is horrible with names, and she also dislikes fruit. Small gestures are something Bella enjoys doing to show someone she cares or appreciates them.

Passion(s): To one day have own her own flower delivery service, so she can bring smiles all over Eorzea!

Childhood: Born in Gyr Abania, Bella’s mother moved to Gridania, soon after Bella was born. Once her mother had settled down in Gridania, she started a chocobo farm called Dandelion Downs. Being an only child, the chocobos they raised became her best friends and playmates. She also developed a deep love for flowers and fairy tales, both of which offered her an escape from the hardships of her home life, especially as her mother’s battle with alcoholism worsened.

Writing Her Own Story: With help, Bella eventually escaped her troubled home and set out on her own. During this time, she discovered that her father had never stopped searching for her, even up to his recent death helping the Ilsabard Contingent in Garlemald. Along with the painful news of his passing, Bella received letters, gil, and the knowledge that her grandparents had also never forgotten her. These revelations left her with mixed emotions—grief over what was lost and what could have been, but also a new sense of belonging.

Current Chapter: Using her father’s gil, Bella bought a house of her own. To help with the financial burden, she opened her doors to renters, which led to meeting Ranieri. Through him, Bella learned to find stories in places she never thought to look. In time, she let herself believe in a love story of her own. Now married, Bella is ready to write her next chapter.

Personality: Kind, upbeat, independent, hardworking, and smart (though this is something she tends to keep to herself).

Interests: Computers, ‘rehabbing’ old tech, music, freeze-dried ice cream, and she secretly enjoys watching the matches at the Arcadion with her son, but she rarely has the spare funds for tickets.

Random Fact: Jubilant loves to sing, but she sings a little off-key. She doesn’t drink often, but when she does, Jubilant will sing to anyone who will listen (or anyone in earshot).

Snapshot: Working the tables in the heart of True Vue, Jubilant Madeen can’t remember when she started being a waitress, but she can’t help but feel that her heart belongs elsewhere. Living paycheck to paycheck, Jubilant struggles as a single mom, but she is determined to set herself and Onyx on a course for a better life. Something bright and hopeful as the neon lights of Solution Nine.

Personality: Kind, gentle, soft spoken, helpful, compassionate, nurturing, and understanding.

Passions: Being a good mother and wife, as well as feeling like she is needed. Dancing is also something she loves and is still passionate about.

Forest Life: Born Róta Kisne within the forests of the Skatay Range, Róta grew up tending to the saplings and collecting plants for natural remedies. When she was older, she began sharing her knowledge with the younger kits of her village. Her life was peaceful, but her path would be forever altered when she met Agnar Paharo and together they had a kit, whom she named Ölrún.

Leaving the Wood: When Ölrún was eleven summers, he was shot in the hip by Garlean soldiers. This caused him to have a permanent limp and to need the use of a crutch to walk. When it was discovered that Ölrún was a male Viera, Róta begged Agnar to help their son because she knew he would not survive the Wood-Warder trials.

Becoming Liet: When Róta learned that Agnar had taken their son from the wood, Róta decided to follow because she knew that they both carried with them a piece of her heart. She adopted the name of Liet and began looking for her family, never giving up until they were reunited.

Life in Kugane: To earn money to fund her travels, Liet found herself in Kugane where she learned how to be a geiko. Liet became a very skilled dancer and her dances were seen as a work of art. Her skill earned her a reputation in Kugane and it allowed her to travel looking for her family.

Reunited: After almost a year, fate smiled upon Liet and she was reunited with Agnar (who had adopted the name Asu). They reunited at a hostel for travelers, and it was not long before they were married and had twin kits names Yuki and Deiji.

Recent Events: Liet and Asu have recently purchased Ryokan Saku which they now run together with their oldest son, Ölrún (now Aki), and his wife, S’alina. Liet has also recently been sharing her love for dancing by choreographing dances for the Mujikoza.

Personality: Jokester, playful, loyal, friendly, hot headed, cocky, and a family man. At times, he can seem a little absent minded, but he does have moments of wisdom that he offers to others. When it comes to work, he shows a more serious side.

Passions: His family and being a good provider. Exercise is also a stress reliever for Asu.

Random Fact(s): Asu is very musically inclined. He has a good singing voice, and Asu can also pick up instruments by ear.

Early Life: Agnar Paharo was born within the forests of the Skatay Range where he lived happily with his mother and grandmother. At a young age, Agnar lost his mother and began to act out. He was known for his rambunctiousness and his constant pranks on the village elders, despite refusing to speak after the death of his mother.

Protector of the Wood: From an early age, it was evident that he had inherited his mother’s skill with the lance. When it was discovered Agnar was a male Viera, his mentor helped fine tune his skills, making Agnar a deadly warrior. Agnar might be carefree and playful by nature, but he took his role of Wood-Warder very seriously.

Falling in Love: One summer night, Agnar met a young female named Róta. He fell head over heels in love with her, and together they had a kit named Ölrún.

Runaway: When their son was attacked by Garlean soldiers, Agnar blamed himself and this is a guilt he still lives with. When it was time for Ölrún to start his training to be a Wood-Warder, Róta begged Agnar to protect their son. They both knew he would not survive the trials. It was an easy decision for Agnar, and he left the wood with his son…knowing he was saving his life.

Becoming Asu: Agnar adopted the name “Asu” which meant “tomorrow” in the Hingan tongue. The word “tomorrow” had a special meaning between him and Róta, and Asu secretly hoped it would make him easier to find, if Róta decided to leave as well.

Journeys of a Father and Son: For a while, Asu and Ölrún (now Aki) traveled Othard before heading to Ishgard where they stayed for sometime in the company of an old dragoon named Benjin with whom he would accompany on sell-sword jobs for spare coin.

Reunited: When Aki expressed interest in studying to become an Arcanists, Benjin suggested that Asu and Aki travel to Limsa. It is here that they reunited with Róta (now going by Liet) at a hostel for travelers. Soon after their reunion, Liet and Asu married and had their twins, Yuki and Deiji.

Life as a Samurai: Starting their life together in Kugane, Asu agreed to enlist in the Sekiseigumi. Seeing this as a way to support his family and to protect their new home.

Recent Events: Asu recently stepped down from his position with the Sekiseigumi to spend more time with his family and to help with Ryokan Saku.

Interests: Card games, horseback riding, fishing, boats, swimming, plum trees, persimmons, and dancing (but Kai probably wouldn’t admit it).

Random Fact(s): Kai has had formal training in etiquette and ballroom dancing. Kai will eat anything, but he has a secret love for persimmons, sushi, cornbread, cookies, and oranges. Drinking water with food is considered a crime, in his book. For many reasons, Kai is prone to asking questions. It is truly how Kai learns about the world around him and the people he meets. However, Kai will also use questions to avoid topics he doesn’t want to talk about.

Early Life: Born in Namai, but orphaned at a young age, S’kai grew up on the streets where he learned how to fend for himself. His childhood left him uneducated, but he is smart enough to play it off.

Becoming a Matsumoto: Kai’s life changed when he met Hope and Takashi Matsumoto. From around the age of twelve, Hope raised and loved Kai, giving him the maternal figure he had been missing, while Takashi made the miqo’te youth his pupil, in an attempt to pass down his family’s legacy.

Falling: In his early twenties, Kai found himself back on his own, which caused him to fall back into old habits. That was until his life recently took another turn, resulting in Kai becoming the father of twins, Rocco and Rose.

Recent Events: Kai has recently returned to the Far East with Rocco and Rose where he joined the Sekiseigumi. He has married Enya Blackend and the two are adjusting to family life together.
